Thomas and the Birthday Party is a mini book.
Plot
It is Thomas' driver's birthday on Saturday, but Thomas is sent to the yard on Thursday. Thomas begins to worry that he will miss the birthday party! But luckily, the Fat Controller knows about this. He allows Thomas to go to Ffarquhar for the party. When Thomas arrives, he is pleasantly surprised to discover that his driver's cake is a replica of himself!

Goofs
- Henry appears to be in his old shape.
- James' wheel splasher lining is yellow and his wheels are red.
- Toby's funnel is off-centre, and is also missing his side windows.
